July 3: Red, White & Boom! - OKC Philharmonic Free Concert!

July 3: Red, White & Boom!

The OKC Philharmonic celebrates Independence Day with a free concert dedicated to Oklahoma’s many hometown heroes. Red, White & Boom! will be presented at the State Fair Park Entertainment Plaza on Wednesday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m.
Conducted by Joel Levine, the Philharmonic welcomes guest vocalist Kristy Cates, who is best known for her role in Wicked on Broadway. A huge fireworks display will close the concert at approximately 10:00 p.m.
Concert-goers will be invited to support the efforts of the United Way and donate to the OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund. These funds are dedicated to the long-term needs of the victims of the devastating tornados of May 2013. The United Way, together with the office of Governor Mary Fallin, are developing strategies to meet the needs of those affected with long-term challenges.
Attendees are encouraged to bring personal seating for comfort on the asphalt surface of the audience area. Food vendors will be on site. For more information, visit okcphilharmonic.org.
